This policy explains what personal data Casino Intelligence collects, why, and what your rights are. The operator of Casino Intelligence is the personal information controller. We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
- If you create an account: your email address, the username you choose, your password (stored only as a one-way hash — we cannot read it), and, if you choose to add it, a coarse region such as “Metro Manila”.
- What you post: reviews, community posts and comments, ratings and images you upload. Your username is shown with them, and what is published (plus your region if you added one, the date you joined and data reports an editor used) is listed on your public profile at /u/<username>/. Items still in moderation or not published are never shown there. Your email address is never shown.
- Your watchlist and the casinos or payment methods you follow.
- If you use the contact form: your email, your name if you give it, the topic, the page it is about and your message.
Cookies and technical data
- We use one cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in (for up to 30 days, or until you sign out). It is not used for anything else.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not embed other companies' tracking pixels.
- To prevent abuse (for example repeated sign-in attempts), your IP address is used briefly in the server's memory. It is not stored in our database.
- Our hosting infrastructure may keep standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security for a limited period.
Why we use it
- To run your account and show what you post.
- To moderate community content and protect the site from spam and abuse.
- To reply to messages you send us.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that host and run the site for us, and where the law requires it. We do not share your data with casinos. When you click through to a casino, that site's own policy applies; if the link is an affiliate link, the casino may learn that you came from us (see our affiliate disclosure).
How long we keep it
- Account data and posts: for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time under Account → Settings; this deletes your account and everything you posted (posts, replies, reviews, ratings and data reports) along with your watchlist. You can also ask us to do it.
- Contact-form messages: for as long as needed to deal with the matter, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed about how your data is processed, to access a copy of it, to have it corrected, to object to processing and to have it erased. Your Account page shows everything you have posted and its status, and Account → Settings lets you change your region and password or delete your account. For anything else, send a message through our contact page and choose “Privacy or account request”. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
Age
This site is for people aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date above. If a change affects how your data is used in a significant way, we will say so on the site.
