A wagering requirement is the amount you must bet before bonus money — and anything won with it — can be withdrawn. It is the most important number in any bonus, and it is rarely in the headline.
A worked example
You deposit ₱1,000 and receive a 100% match bonus of ₱1,000 with 30x wagering on the bonus. You must place ₱30,000 in total bets (30 × ₱1,000) before withdrawing. If the requirement is instead 30x on deposit plus bonus, it becomes ₱60,000 (30 × ₱2,000) — double, from one small phrase in the terms.
Terms that change the maths
- Basis: bonus only vs deposit + bonus (see above).
- Game contribution: slots often count 100%, live casino and baccarat often count 10% or not at all.
- Maximum bet while wagering: exceeding it can void the bonus.
- Time limit: unfinished wagering expires and the bonus is removed.
- Maximum cash-out: some bonuses cap what you can withdraw regardless of winnings.
Why we track wagering changes
Casinos change bonus terms quietly. Casino Radar records every change to wagering, match rate, cap and minimum deposit with the old and new values, so you can see whether an offer got better or worse.
